About This Portal and the Operating Entity

JobsInPharma.in (“the Portal”) is India’s pharma-specialist job marketplace, connecting pharmaceutical employers and placement consultants with pharma professionals across India. The Portal is owned and operated by:

References to “we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Portal” in these Terms mean Synergyne Technological Solutions. References to “you” or “your” mean the individual or organisation using the Portal as an Employer, Candidate, or Visitor. Synergyne Technological Solutions reserves the right to restructure, convert, or transfer the ownership or legal form of the operating entity at any time. Such changes shall not affect the validity or continuity of these Terms.

Definitions

• PortalThe website jobsinpharma.in and all associated pages, tools, and services operated by Synergyne Technological Solutions.
• EmployerAny registered company, HR manager, hiring manager, or placement consultant who posts job vacancies on the Portal.
• CandidateAny registered individual who creates a profile, builds a resume, or applies for vacancies on the Portal.
• VisitorAny person who accesses the Portal without registration.
• PackageA bundle of credits, features, or access rights available for purchase by Employers or Candidates, as described on the Portal’s pricing page at the time of purchase.
• Posting CreditA single unit of entitlement to publish one job vacancy on the Portal, forming part of an Employer Package.
• Package ValidityThe period from the date of purchase within which Posting Credits or Candidate access features must be used, as specified in the applicable package at the time of purchase. Credits not used within this window lapse automatically.
• Featured CreditAn entitlement to display one vacancy in a highlighted, priority position in search results.
• Invitation CreditAn entitlement for an Employer to send a proactive invitation to a Candidate to apply for a specific vacancy.
• Resume BuilderThe tool on the Portal that allows Candidates to create a structured resume using one of the provided templates.
• ContentAny text, data, files, images, or information submitted to the Portal by an Employer, Candidate, or Visitor.
• DPDP ActThe Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as enacted by the Government of India.

Eligibility and Registration

3.1 Minimum Age

You must be at least 18 years of age to register on this Portal. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3.2 Employer Registration

Employers must provide accurate company or agency details at registration, including a valid business email address and, where applicable, a GST number. Registering under a false company name or providing misleading business information is grounds for immediate account suspension.

3.3 Candidate Registration

Candidates must register using a genuine email address and provide accurate professional information. Creating multiple Candidate accounts for the same individual is not permitted.

3.4 One Account Per Entity

Each company or consultancy is permitted one Employer account. Each individual is permitted one Candidate account. We reserve the right to merge or remove duplicate accounts without prior notice.

3.5 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activity conducted through your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately at support@jobsinpharma.in if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Employer Terms

4.1 Job Posting Standards

Every job vacancy posted on the Portal must:

• Represent a genuine, current vacancy for a real role at a real organisation.
• Include accurate information about the role, location, experience requirement, and compensation range or be designated as a negotiable compensation role.
• Comply with all applicable Indian labour laws, including non-discrimination requirements.
• Not be used to collect personal data from Candidates for any purpose other than genuine recruitment for the stated role.

4.2 Prohibited Job Postings

The following types of postings are strictly prohibited and will be removed without notice or refund:

• Fictitious, duplicate, or speculative vacancy postings intended solely to build a Candidate database.
• Multi-level marketing opportunities, franchise arrangements, or commission-only roles presented as salaried employment.
• Any posting that requires a Candidate to pay a fee, deposit, or purchase training materials as a condition of employment or consideration.
• Postings for roles outside the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or allied life sciences industries.
• Postings containing discriminatory criteria based on caste, religion, gender, marital status, or other protected characteristics under Indian law.

4.3 Application Handling

Employers are expected to review applications received in good faith and update the application status within a reasonable time. Applications remain on record for the active lifetime of the listing. We do not transmit or forward Candidate data to third parties on an Employer’s behalf.

4.4 Placement Consultants

Placement consultants and staffing agencies may use the Portal to post vacancies on behalf of their client companies. The consultant is fully responsible for the accuracy and legitimacy of every vacancy posted under their account. Consultants must not post the same vacancy under multiple client company names to artificially inflate visibility or circumvent posting credit limits.

4.5 Confidential Listings

Employers may choose to conceal the company name on a vacancy listing. Confidential listings must still represent genuine vacancies. The Portal operator may contact the Employer for verification if a confidential listing receives Candidate complaints.

Candidate Terms

5.1 Profile Accuracy

Candidates must provide accurate professional information including qualifications, total years of experience, current location, and employment status. Misrepresenting qualifications, fabricating employment history, or claiming certifications not held constitutes a material breach of these Terms and may be reported to the relevant employer or regulatory authority.

5.2 Resume Builder

The Resume Builder is provided as a convenience tool to assist Candidates in creating professional resumes using the Portal’s provided templates. Candidates retain ownership of the content they enter. The Portal does not guarantee that resumes created using this tool will meet any specific employer’s requirements or result in employment.

5.3 Applications

Applying for a vacancy on this Portal does not constitute or guarantee an interview, offer of employment, or any obligation on the part of the Employer. The Portal acts as an intermediary platform only. All hiring decisions are made solely by the Employer.

5.4 Invitation Response

The ability to respond to Employer Invitations is a feature available on paid Candidate packages. Candidates on the free tier will receive invitation notifications but must upgrade to a paid package to respond. Invitations are sent only by registered Employers holding valid packages on the Portal.

5.5 Profile Visibility

Candidate profiles on the free tier are publicly visible to registered Employers on the Portal. Candidates who wish to restrict their profile visibility may do so by activating the confidential search mode, where available on their current package tier.

5.6 Package Features

The specific features, access rights, and benefits associated with each Candidate package tier are as described on the Portal’s pricing page at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue package features with reasonable notice as described in Clause 12.

Packages, Payments, and Credits

6.1 Packages

The Portal offers a range of paid Employer and Candidate packages. Package details including pricing, credit quantities, validity periods, listing visibility durations, and included features are as described on the Portal’s pricing page at the time of purchase. Package details are subject to change in accordance with Clause 12. Changes to available packages will not affect packages already purchased — the terms applicable at the time of purchase govern that purchase for its full validity window.

6.2 Credit Validity and Expiry

Posting Credits and other time-bound credits are valid only within the Package Validity window specified at the time of purchase. Credits not used within this window expire automatically and are not rolled over, carried forward, or refunded. Refill or top-up credits purchased after initial package activation expire when the original package’s validity window closes, not on an independent schedule.

6.3 Payments

All payments on the Portal are processed through secure, reputed payment infrastructure. Accepted payment methods are displayed at checkout and may include online payment options such as UPI, net banking, credit and debit cards, and digital wallets, as well as direct bank transfer where this option is made available. The Portal reserves the right to change, add, or discontinue supported payment methods at any time. All transactions are in Indian Rupees (INR). By completing a purchase, you authorise the charge to your selected payment method.

6.4 Pricing and GST

Prices displayed on the Portal are exclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless expressly stated otherwise. GST at the applicable rate under Indian law will be added to the displayed price at checkout. A GST-compliant tax invoice will be issued by Synergyne Technological Solutions on completion of every paid transaction (GST No: 37BFAPP5057E1ZH). Employer customers who require their GSTIN to appear on the invoice must provide it at checkout. Prices are subject to revision at any time with notice on the pricing page.

6.5 Refund Policy

Our Returns and Refund Policy, which governs all refund and cancellation requests, is available at jobsinpharma.in/refund-policy. By completing a purchase on this Portal, you confirm that you have read and agree to that policy. In summary, all purchases are final upon activation of credits to the account, subject to the exceptions set out in the Refund Policy for verified technical failures and verified duplicate charges.

6.6 Invitation Credits — Activation

Invitation credits included in applicable Employer packages are subject to a minimum candidate database threshold before they become active. This threshold and the activation status are communicated to Employer account holders via their dashboard. Until activation, invitation credits are held in the account and cannot be used.

Content and Intellectual Property

7.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of any Content you submit to the Portal — including job descriptions, company profiles, and resume information. By submitting Content, you grant Synergyne Technological Solutions a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, store, and use that Content for the purpose of operating the Portal, including displaying vacancies in search results and to registered Candidates, for as long as your account remains active or the relevant Content is live on the Portal.

7.2 Portal Intellectual Property

All Portal design elements, sector taxonomy, sub-sector definitions, filter architecture, therapy area classifications, resume templates, branding, copy, and software belong to Synergyne Technological Solutions and are protected under applicable Indian intellectual property law. The Jobs in Pharma device mark — comprising the teal circular figure and associated wordmark — is proprietary intellectual property and trademark protection has been applied for. Reproduction, copying, imitation, or unauthorised commercial use of any Portal design, branding, or structural content without prior written permission is prohibited and may be pursued under applicable Indian law.

7.3 Third-Party Content

The Portal does not independently verify the accuracy of job descriptions, company profiles, or Candidate resumes submitted by users. We are not responsible for errors, misrepresentations, or outdated information in user-submitted Content.

Data Protection and Privacy

8.1 Applicable Law and Policy

This Portal operates in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) of India. The collection, storage, processing, and use of personal data on this Portal is governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. By registering on this Portal, you confirm that you have read those policies and consent to the practices described therein.

8.2 Data Storage

All personal data collected through this Portal is stored on servers located within India in compliance with applicable data localisation requirements under the DPDP Act.

8.3 How Candidate Data is Shared

Candidate profile and contact data may be accessed by registered Employers in the context of an active application submitted by the Candidate or an Employer Invitation accepted by the Candidate. Candidate data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes unrelated to recruitment on this Portal.

8.4 Your Rights

You have the right under the DPDP Act to access, correct, and request deletion of your personal data held on this Portal. To exercise these rights, email support@jobsinpharma.in from the email address associated with your account. Deletion requests will be processed within 30 days. Certain records may be retained beyond deletion requests where required for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or financial record-keeping obligations.

Prohibited Conduct

The following activities are strictly prohibited on this Portal and will result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of any unused credits without refund, and where applicable, legal action:

• 1Scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction of any data from the Portal, including job listings, Candidate profiles, or company profiles, by any means.
• 2Using Candidate contact data obtained through the Portal for any purpose other than genuine recruitment for a vacancy posted on the Portal.
• 3Posting false, misleading, or fraudulent job vacancies or Candidate profiles.
• 4Impersonating another company, individual, or organisation on the Portal.
• 5Attempting to circumvent any payment mechanism, access control, credit allocation system, or account restriction on the Portal.
• 6Uploading malware, viruses, or any code intended to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorised access to Portal systems.
• 7Using Portal-obtained contact details to approach other users outside the Portal’s own messaging and application system for commercial solicitation, spamming, or harassment.
• 8Using the Portal to promote any business, product, or service unrelated to genuine pharmaceutical or healthcare hiring.
• 9Reselling, sub-licensing, or transferring Portal access, Posting Credits, or Candidate packages to third parties.
• 10Any conduct that violates applicable Indian law, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000, the DPDP Act 2023, or applicable labour and employment legislation.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Platform Role

JobsInPharma.in is an intermediary platform that facilitates connections between Employers and Candidates. We do not act as an employer, recruiter, or employment agent in any transaction. We make no representation or warranty that the Portal will meet any specific hiring or job search requirement, or that information posted by any user is accurate, complete, or current.

10.2 No Guarantee of Results

We do not guarantee that any Employer will fill a vacancy, that any Candidate will receive an interview or job offer, that search results will be comprehensive or error-free, or that the Portal will be available without interruption. We will endeavour to maintain Portal availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

10.3 Verification

We do not independently verify the credentials, qualifications, employment history, or identity of any Candidate, nor the legitimacy, financial standing, or HR practices of any Employer. All users must conduct their own due diligence before making any hiring decision or accepting any employment.

10.4 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law, Synergyne Technological Solutions’ total liability to any user in connection with the Portal shall not exceed the total amount paid by that user to us in the twelve months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages arising from use of or inability to use the Portal.

10.5 Third-Party Services

The Portal integrates with third-party services for functions including payment processing, analytics, and email delivery. We are not responsible for the practices, terms, availability, or failures of any third-party service. Your use of integrated third-party services is subject to those parties’ own terms and policies.

Account Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account, with or without prior notice, in the following circumstances:

• Breach of any provision of these Terms.
• Posting of fraudulent, misleading, or prohibited Content.
• Conduct that is harmful to the reputation of the Portal, the pharma professional community, or other users.
• Non-payment or fraudulent payment activity.
• Legal requirement to do so from a competent authority.

Upon termination of an Employer account, all active listings are immediately paused. Unused credits are forfeited without refund where termination is due to a Terms breach. Upon termination of a Candidate account, the profile is removed from public view. Application records may be retained for compliance and dispute resolution purposes.

Modifications to These Terms and the Portal

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When material changes are made, the updated Terms will be published on the Portal with a revised effective date prominently displayed. A notice of material changes will be posted on the Portal homepage for a reasonable period following the update. Continued use of the Portal after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

We also reserve the right to modify, add, suspend, or discontinue Portal features, packages, pricing, and functionality at any time. Changes to package pricing or features do not affect packages already purchased — the terms applicable at the time of your purchase govern that transaction for its full validity window.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India.

In the event of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days of written notice by either party, it may be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with arbitration conducted in the English language in Vijayawada.

We aim to acknowledge all enquiries within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 business days, in accordance with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
